The Cyprus Rally Championship 2020 started off with victories for two Petrolina Racing Team crews. Specifically, just like last year’s East Safari Rally, two of Petrolina Racing Team’s crews finished in first and second place following an amazing performance.

Simos Galatariotis and co-driver Antonis Ioannou, driving a VW Polo R5, won the East Safari Rally following an extraordinary performance, winning 11 of the 12 special routes. At the same time, following a difficult battle, Panayiotis Yiangou and co-driver Panagiotis Kyriakou, driving a Hyundai i20 R5, ranked second.

The East Safari Rally was organised with great success by the Famagusta Motorsport Club, on the weekend of 15-16 February 2020, in the free Famagusta area. The race ended at noon, in front of the SEK building in Paralimni.
