For the fifth consecutive year, Petrolina plays a key part in the organisation of the Radisson Blu Larnaka International Marathon, taking part as a major sponsor in the marathon, which has become a staple in the local running scene over the past few years. The Radisson Blu Larnaka International Marathon will be held on Sunday, 20 November 2022, starting from the Finikoudes beachfront in Larnaka with thousands taking part for yet another year.

The Marathon will feature seven races of various distances, designed for different levels of endurance. The Petrolina Energy Team, comprised of company volunteers and their families, will once again participate in the Corporate 5K Race in support of charity organisations. For yet another year, Radisson Blu Larnaka International Marathon supports the Karaiskakio Foundation, Special Olympics Cyprus, the Ronald McDonald’s House of Charities Cyprus and the Christina A. Apostolou Foundation.

Radisson Blu Larnaka International Marathon is Cyprus’ First Green Marathon and will be held under the auspices of the Environment Commissioner, Klelia Vasiliou. It is also one of the most popular marathons held in Cyprus, attracting thousands of local and international athletes every year, while having also received more than 50 awards in Cyprus and abroad.
