For the 9th year in a row, Petrolina supported the Environment and Recycling Festival, which is organised by Green Dot Cyprus. The Festival aims to raise awareness on environmental and recycling matters. The Cypriot petroleum company has been participating in the Festival as a Main Sponsor for many years, upholding its original commitment in 2011 to support and promote the event.  

The annual Green Dot Environment and Recycling Festival was held on Saturday 25 May 2019 at the Acropolis Park in Nicosia, with great success, raising awareness as well as spreading joy to hundreds of visitors. The event is Cyprus’ biggest environmental festival. 

In the context of its Corporate Social Responsibility programme and as a Main Sponsor, Petrolina took part in this year’s Festival with the Petrolina Energy Team, which is a group of staff volunteers. Petrolina had its own stand, where kids had the opportunity to play the game “Kids Cars Race” and received commemorative gifts. The company has consistently supported and participated in activities to raise awareness among the public and especially young people, on the importance of protecting the environment as well as the value of recycling.

Petrolina congratulates Green Dot for the excellent organisation of the event and the creative collaboration. At the same time, the company thanks the volunteers of the Petrolina Energy Team, who respond to each and every call of the Company, thereby supporting the local community.
