Consistent with its long-standing commitment to support humanitarian initiatives, as part of its multifaceted Corporate Social Responsibility programme, Petrolina sponsors the annual “Love Route”, organised by the “One Dream One Wish” association.

The five-day island-wide motorcycle charity ride, “Love Route”, which was held between 16-20 March 2022, aimed to raise awareness about  the multiple issues being endured by youngsters  and children suffering from  cancer, as well as to raise funds for the “One Dream One Wish” charity.

On 17 March 2022, the convoy of the “Love Route” motorcyclists visited the Petrolina service station at the new GSZ stadium in Larnaca, where they were warmly welcomed by members of the Company’s personnel and management team. This is an annual appointment of love where, beyond sponsoring the entire event, Petrolina’s personnel also make their own donation to the charity.

Over the course of the “Love Route”, the motorcyclists’ convoy passed through the towns and villages in the free areas of Cyprus, with the aim of raising awareness and collecting donations, in order to fulfil the wishes of children and young people, through the association’s mental health and financial support programme.

Petrolina would like to once again congratulate the volunteer motorcyclists and the members of the foundation for their noble contribution.

Petrlolina’s sponsorship of the “Love Route” is part of Petrolina’s wider support of the “One Dream One Wish” foundation, whose goal is to fulfil wishes and dreams of children and young people. In December 2021, the company donated the amount of €10,000 to the association, to cover the needs of children with cancer, as well as the financial needs of university students who are still under regular observation by a physician and/or are still receiving treatment.
