Detailed Terms of Participation in the Competition “IslandAdventuresCy by Petrolina”
1.    Subject of the Competition 
The company Petrolina (Holdings) Public Ltd, with registered office in Kilkis street 1, 6015, Larnaca (the "Company") is announcing a competition with the title ‘IslandAdventuresCy by Petrolina’ (the "Competition”), which will take place online, in the Company’s accounts in the social media platforms, Facebook (www.facebook.com/petrolinaholdings) and Instagram (www.instagram.com/petrolinaholdings). The competition is carried out by the company DeLeMa Communication Ltd on behalf of its client, Petrolina (Holdings) Public Ltd.
1.1.    The aim of the present detailed terms (hereinafter, “Terms”) is to set out the terms of participation in the Competition and the process of nominating the winners. 
2.    Right of Participation in the Competition
2.1.    Right of participation in the Competition is given to residents of Cyprus who have completed 18 years of age. A necessary condition for every participant is to have an active personal account in Facebook and Instagram. 
2.2.    The Competition is organized exclusively by the Company and it is not supported or related in any way to Facebook or Instagram. 
2.3.    The information which shall be provided in the course of the Competition will be used only for the purpose of the Competition and only by the Company on the basis of the Privacy Policy Statement (as posted in the website www.petrolina.com.cy).   
2.4.    The identification of the age of the contestants will be made via the presentation of the winners’ I.D. cards, when they appear to receive the prize. 
3.    Exclusion of Contestants
3.1.    From the Competition, excluded are those who fall under the following cases: (a) the employees of the Company and the Petrolina Group, (b) first-degree relatives of the aforementioned group of employees as well as their spouses (c) persons using a pseudonym in the use of the social media platform, making the identification check impossible and (d) the employees of the advertising company DeLeMa Communication Ltd.
3.2.    The exclusion of the above persons may occur at any stage of the Competition or if the issue is revealed after the completion of the Competition, the Company is entitled to withdraw and request the return of the prize. 
4.    How to Participate
4.1.    Participation in the Competition is possible in both social media platforms: Facebook and Instagram.
4.2.    In order to participate in the Competition on the Facebook platform, a user must follow and implement all three (3) steps below:
α)    Like the Petrolina (Holdings) Public Ltd page found at: www.facebook.com/petrolinaholdings
β)    Find the relevant posting for the competition and answer in the comments of the post the question “Which year did Pavlos Kontides earn the silver medal in the Olympics in London, in the Laser category?”
γ)    Refer to (by tagging them) 1 friend in their answer.
4.3.    To participate in the Competition, an Instagram user should follow and implement the following three (3) steps:
a)    Follow the official page of Petrolina at: www.instagram.com/petrolinaholdings 
b)    Find the relevant posting for the competition and answer in the comments of the post the question “Which year did Pavlos Kontides earn the silver medal in the Olympics in London, in the Laser competition?”
c)    Refer to (by tagging them) 1 friend in their answer.
5.    The Competition and its Terms shall be published in the official website of the Company, www.petrolina.com.cy,  in Facebook www.facebook.com/petrolinaholdings and in Instagram www.instagram.com/petrolinaholdings 
5.1.    To participate in the competition, it is not necessary to purchase any product and/or service of the Company.  
6.    Nomination of Competition Winners
6.1.    The nomination of the winners of the Competition will be made via a random draw of all the users who followed the directions of the competition (as set out in point 4), which will be conducted on 31 July 2020 at the offices of the company “DeLeMa Communication Ltd”, in Nicosia. 
6.2.    Eight (8) winners in total will be nominated at random from both publications (in Facebook and Instagram). Specifically:
α)    1 winner together with one person of their choice will win a personal sailing training course from the Olympic champion Pavlos Kontides.  
β)    4 winners will win 1 flight with a glider, with a person of their choice, of a 10 minute duration, from the Cyprus Gliding Group. 
γ)    3 winners will win Petrolina drive fuels, worth €100 each.
The dates and the details in relation to the training session will be worked out following the coordination of the winners and the availability of Pavlos Kontides. The dates and the details in relation to the glider flights will be organized following the coordination of the winners and DeLeMa Communication Ltd.
7.    The draw will take place at the offices of the advertising Company DeLeMa Communication Ltd (the “Draw”) 
7.1.    The Draw will take place on 31/07/2020 or on any other date, as determined by the Company. The winners will be announced on the official website of the Company in Facebook and Instagram within one (1) working day.
7.2.    Every user is entitled to win one (1) time. 
7.3.    In the Draw, only valid participations will be considered (the “Valid Participations”). Valid Participations are any participations in the Competition for which the following jointly apply:
α)    they have been submitted on the basis of the process described above in point 4,
β)    they are not, at the Company’s judgement, the product of unlawful technical influence or due to deceit or the unlawful interference of the participant or a third party. 
7.4.    The prizes of the Competition will be won by eight (8) winners in total as referred to in point 6. The drive fuel prizes of €100 each may be redeemed only at Petrolina, Agip and Eni gas stations. 
7.5.    The Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash nor can they be used with another offer or discount.
8.    Duration of the Competition
8.1.    The duration of the Competition is defined as the period from 02/07/2020, time 11:00 (the "Start of the Competition") until 30/07/2020, time 23:59 (the "End of the Competition").
9.    Notification of awards - Receiving Prizes
9.1.    Winners will be notified within 2 days after the draw with a personal message to the winner's Facebook or Instagram account (depending on the social network they chose to take part in).
9.2.    Only the corresponding prizes will be awarded to each participant of the Competition.
9.3.    The receipt of the Prizes will take place after coordination with the Company. Prizes will only be delivered upon presentation of I.D card.
9.4.    The details of the Competition winners will also be announced on the official website of the Company, www.petrolina.com.cy, Facebook www.facebook.com/petrolinaholdings, and Instagram www.instagram.com/petrolinaholdings. 
9.5.    In case it is not possible to communicate with any of the winners within the period of seven (7) calendar days from the day of their nomination for any reason (including reasons of force majeure), and/or in case the winner is late and/or and does not wish to receive their gift within the above deadline, they permanently lose their entitlement to the prize. The position of the said winner will be occupied by the immediately following one in the list with the serial number, as the first runner-up, and so on.
10.    Liability
10.1.    The Company shall not be liable in case that, for any technical reason, it is impossible to receive and/or register participation. 
10.2.    The liability of the Company is limited exclusively to the disposal of the presents within the time period set out above in article 8. The Company shall not be liable against the participants in the competition or any third party for any reason, including negligence, luck, and force majeure. 
10.3.    The Company and/or Pavlos Kontides shall not be liable against the participants of the Competition and/or any third person in the event of an accident and/or negligence on the part of Pavlos Kontides and/or the Cyprus Gliding Group and/or any other person before and/or during and/or after the completion of the prizes of the Competition, as described in paragraphs 6.2 (a) and 6.2 (b) above. 
10.4.    After the expiry of the duration of the Competition and the distribution of the prizes, as in the abovementioned, every obligation of the Company ceases to apply. 
11.    Publication
11.1.    The terms of participation in the Competition are posted in the page of the Organizer in Facebook: www.facebook.com/petrolinaholdings in the form of a ‘Note’. The link will also be added under “Bio” in the organiser’s page in Instagram: www.instagram.com/petrolinaholdings. The terms will also be published in the website of the Company, www.petrolina.com.cy   
12.    Personal Data
12.1.    In order to conduct this competition through the social networking platforms Facebook and Instagram, it is not necessary to collect personal data other than those registered by the applications. The Company's Privacy Policy Statement is posted on the website www.petrolina.com.cy. The personal data provided for the Competition will be used only for the Company's communication with the winners, in order to arrange the receipt of the prizes. 
12.2.    The Company may upon the delivery of the Prizes ask from any prize winner any further details which may be necessary for the completion of the delivery of the prize or the process of the Competition. Any additional details shall be provided with the full consent of the participant of prize winner. 
13.    Withdrawal of Notice – Amendment of Terms
13.1.    The Company may withdraw the notice of the Competition or amend the present terms (including the duration of the Competition and the date of the Draw), providing a relevant notification through the official website of the Company or the social platforms Facebook and Instagram, with the effective date of the said withdrawal / amendment, on the date of the relevant notification.
14.    Applicable Law 
14.1.    The present terms and the Competition are governed in their entirety by Cypriot Law. Any dispute in relation to the Competition that may arise in the future is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the District Court of Larnaca.
15.    Acceptance of the Competition terms and Prizes
15.1.    Participation in the Competition entails the acceptance without reservations of the present terms. 
15.2.    The acceptance of the Prizes entails that the winners give their consent to the Company to publish their names and their city of residence in any advertising activity relating to the Competition, in any mass communication. The advertising activity in question is not limited only to the use of the names of the winners but may also include the use of a picture through photography or filming with the protagonists of the Competition. The Company intends to request your consent for the use of images and photographs.
